While many community improvement corporations nationwide are attempting to revitalize rundown, downtown city districts by allocating funds to support business owners dedicated to bringing residents and fine art promotions into their communities, property owners who are having difficulty leasing their properties are allowing artists to set up temporary “pop-up” art studios at discounted rates just to receive some sort of income from their investment.
